Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
DoughMaker stores your recipes on your device. It does not require an account or send recipes, scanned text, notes, or bake photos to a developer-operated server.
Information stored on your device
Recipes, ingredients, instructions, notes, selected bake photos, and timer end times are saved locally in the app. The app includes no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Camera, photos, and text recognition
The app requests camera access when you scan a recipe. You can choose photos to import or attach through Apple’s photo picker. Text recognition is performed on your device. Images and recognized text are used for the recipe features you select.
Notifications
With your permission, DoughMaker schedules local notifications for baking timers. Change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Sharing and exports
PDF and Word files are generated on your device. When you share an export, the recipient or service you choose receives that file and handles it under its own privacy practices. Review recipe notes before sharing.
Backups and deletion
You can delete recipes and attached bake photos in the app. Removing the app may delete its local data. Exported and shared copies remain wherever you saved or sent them. Apple device backups may include app data depending on your settings; Apple manages those backups.
Support requests
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you include, and use it to respond to your request. Share only information needed to describe the issue.
